This is the first sermon following a five-week hiatus when Rev Derwyn was on vacation. It is also the first of a mini-series of three sermons that will explore more fully the significance of having the name of the God of Israel revealed. In other (good!) news, the Church of the Good Shepherd will be reopened for public worship on Sunday, September 13th. Both the 8:00 and 10:00 services will be offered and specific instructions about how these services will be conducted will be given on the parish website. We're looking forward to gathering again after six months apart...
