What Does It Mean to Be Wise?

In Derwyn’s absence, parishioner Margaret Hogarth uses the story of King Solomon to remind us that we need the guidance of God’s Spirit to distinguish good from evil. Then we are called to use that wisdom not only to care for those in need but to seek to correct systemic injustices in our society that advantage some people at the expense of others.
