Examining the Exodus Part 2

The Exodus story involves two parts: the deliverance of Israel from slavery, and the establishment of a covenant with Yahweh through the giving of the Torah. Both parts are needed, and why they are important to the story of Israel connects with why it is important for us; we inherit what was said of Israel and are to continue to fulfill what they were called to do and who they were called to be.
