So, What Did You Think of His Sermon?

If we lived in the same town in which Jesus grew up, chances are good that seeing him launch into his ministry at age 30 would have been challenging for us to take. After all, we would have already known him! But isn't this where we are right now? Don't we feel that we already know Jesus? So encountering something about him that is different from what we figured we knew about him can be challenging for us to take. It's the same situation, just 2000 years removed . . .
