This is the first sermon in a series of five that will take us through the season of Lent. Since Paul stated in 1 Corinthians 15 that he received as of first importance that Christ died for our sins, according to the Scriptures, it is important to understand what that means and how it affects us.
Based on N. T. Wright's recent book, The Day the Revolution Began, this series intends to introduce a fuller picture of what Jesus accomplished on the cross than what is commonly understood.
