My husband and I began attending the Good Shepherd in May of 2006 after being recommended this parish by friends in Kelowna. We were warmly welcomed in by all of the parishioners and felt at home almost instantly!
I've held various roles at the Good Shepherd, including Sunday School Coordinator and teacher, Administrative Assistant and Communications Coordinator. All of these roles have given me great joy in being able to serve God and my church community. Both of my children were baptized at the Good Shepherd (fun fact: my son was the 500th person to be baptized at the Good Shepherd!).
I love donating blood (sounds weird, I know) and a donation highlight was making my 40th donation on my 40th birthday. I enjoy volunteering my time at either of my kid's schools and I'm an active participant in various University of Calgary studies. I have a wonderful job as a part-time Dental Administrator at an amazing clinic in SW Calgary. My other favourite activities include geocaching, baking, thrifting, genealogy research and exploring various parks and playgrounds throughout the city with my family.
