A couple of years ago, we auctioned off a variety of Christmas baskets which proved to be a big hit and a great fundraiser for our parish. We have reviewed all the baskets that sold, and determined which ones made the most profit. To that end, we have come up with a list of Christmas gift baskets we will be creating this fall to be sold at Wassail Night on November 30th! To make these baskets truly special, we need your support. If you're able to, we are asking for donations of both money and goods to assemble these baskets. Donations need to be received by November 9th in order to allow enough time to assemble these baskets.

To make a monetary donation towards the baskets, you can place an envelope with cash or cheque marked "Christmas Baskets" in the donation plate at the church, or online through our Tithe.ly account by clicking HERE. Be sure to select "Christmas Baskets" in the "To" drop-down menu.

As well, we are looking for new/unopened items you might be willing to donate (we unfortunately cannot accept any used items). Listed below are some of the items we are looking for:
- Gift cards of any denomination to any stores, but particularly: Tim Hortons, Starbucks, and Indigo
- French Coffee Press
- Travel coffee mugs
- Tea strainer
- Small tea pot
- Kid sized apron
- Ice cream scoop
- Markers, colouring books and assorted kid's craft supplies
- Tissue paper (white, green and red)
- Baskets (used baskets are accepted)
If you have any of these items (or any other new items that you think would be a good addition to a Christmas basket), please email the church office - office@anglicangoodshepherd.ca (attn to Holly) to ensure we don't have any duplicates.  Thank you for your support and generosity in making our Christmas Basket fundraiser a success!
