To What are the Signs Pointing?

John's catalogue of seven miraculous signs are meant to bring the reader of the Gospel to the conclusion to "believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name" (20:31). In this sermon, Rev Derwyn unpacks what these signs are pointing at and unpacks what "believe" means in this Gospel. Here's a hint: it has very little to do with simply agreeing with or giving mental assent to some statements about Jesus.
