As begin another year following the Narrative Lectionary, the featured Gospel will be John. We will get into the Gospel of John in detail after Christmas, but will still have readings from it as we work our way through the narrative of the Hebrew Bible.
In today's sermon, Rev Derwyn compares the creation story of Genesis 1 with the creation theme of John 1, and highlights a significant difference between the two accounts.
