Law versus Love

When Jesus was confronted by the Pharisees on a couple of occasions about how he was violating the Sabbath commandment, his response opened the door to a principle for us to follow. In short, if the keeping of a law/instruction/tradition keeps us from being able to love our neighbour, the keeping of that law/instruction/tradition must be suspended in that situation . . .
