When we suffer is it our own fault? Have we offended God and now we are reaping the consequences? Parishioner Donna Wilson explains how creation follows natural laws which can bring about natural disasters, accidents, and disease, but these are not specifically brought about by God. God does not promise us a trouble-free life, but one where God stands with us through good and bad times. The Spirit of God in us prays for us when we don't have the words. And we have the promise that there is nothing in all of creation that is able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus.
