How God Prefers to Act in the World

In Derwyn’s absence parishioner Margaret Hogarth uses the readings to demonstrate how God furthers the purposes of the Kingdom of Heaven through the actions of God’s people explaining that the same holds true for us today. God calls us to be agents of his kingdom here on earth and we can choose to respond to events and people according to our selfish human nature or according to the principles of God’s kingdom. God’s way is to respond to those who cross our paths with kindness and compassion.
