Encountering the Risen Christ

Sometimes we are caught between something that has ended and the new thing that has not yet started. In those times all we can do is wait. If we are attuned to Jesus, we can see his working in the ordinary aspects of our lives in just the way we need. In the Scriptures the risen Christ came to his people providing what they needed not necessarily what they wanted. Spectacular appearances may not be the norm but if we watch with anticipation we will see the work of the risen Christ in our lives.
