Thus Spake Sirach, the Logos, and Zarathustra

What do ancient Jewish thought, Greek philosophy, and Persian religion have to do with the Christmas story? In this sermon, Rev Derwyn explores how the Christian faith has been informed by what has been discovered about God prior to the birth of Jesus Christ. He suggests that part of the significance of the Incarnation is how the Christian story embraces truths about God as they have been found by various peoples in their pursuit of the knowledge of God.
