On Saturday evening, December 14th, we'll be enjoying our annual family-friendly Wassail Night!

Wassail refers to two things: "wassailing" is to go around singing Christmas carols, and "wassail" is a spicy, warm punch drink that sometimes has a bit more "Christmas cheer" added to it. We'll be enjoying both on Wassail Night (though we won't be going out to sing carols and the extra "cheer" for the wassail will be optional).

Starting at 7:00pm, we'll have 27 Christmas Baskets available for sale, and you can see what each of these baskets are and what they will cost in the links below. They can only be purchased in person on the 14th, so if more than one person wants the same basket, we'll have to go to an auction for that basket to see who gets it...

At 7:30pm, we'll move to singing the fun Christmas carols that don't fit very well in a Sunday morning liturgy. I'm sure I could come up with something, but it's pretty hard to make "Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer" fit with a sermon and the Eucharist. We have a list of all sorts of these fun songs and will have a fun way to determine which ones we'll sing.

The wassail itself will be served throughout the evening and we expect to wrap things up by 9:00pm. Come and join us for a fun time together!
