We know it can be uncomfortable to visit a new place for the first time, so we hope that the following paragraphs will help make things a bit more familiar to you before you arrive.
We have two services on Sunday morning (8:00am and 10:00am) and a service on Wednesday morning at 10:00am. Each service has its own character and approach to worship and the celebration of the Eucharist. You can find detailed information about each service on our Worship page. We are pleased to welcome you to any of our services!
We invite you to view the Children's Ministries page for more information.
We want you to be comfortable when you worship with us! We never want you to think "I have nothing to wear to church" as you get ready for one of our services. There really is no dress code here. Parishioners dress in a variety of styles, from business casual to jeans, shorts, and t-shirts.
We have three single all-gender washrooms in the building. An accessible washroom is opposite the main doors on the other side of the narthex. The other two washrooms are located downstairs in the lower hall just to the right of the entrance. All three floors of the building are accessible by elevator as well as the stairs.
The best way is to join us for conversation before the 8:00am Sunday service or for coffee, tea, and snacks after the 10:00am Sunday service. Spending time with us in these relaxed ways makes it easy for us to get to know each other.
You can also get in touch with Rev Derwyn by calling the church at 403-246-8123 or by calling or texting his cell at 403-923-8536. Email is also an option: derwyn@anglicangoodshepherd.ca. He'd love to meet you for coffee some time.
You'll also find that pretty much anyone you talk to at a service will be happy to help you with whatever questions you might have about participating in the life of the parish. So please be sure to ask someone; don't let your curiosity go unsatisfied!
